Dr. Alexander Sachse studied chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich (Germany) and accomplished his PhD in 2011 at the Institute Charles Gerhardt of Montpellier (ICGM, France) under the supervision of Dr. Anne Galarneau on the development of catalytic microreactors featuring hierarchical porosity. After various post-doctoral experiences, notably in the LRC at the UFRGS in Porto Alegre, he obtained a tenure position as CNRS Researcher in 2017 at the Institute of Chemistry of Materials and Natural Resources of Poitiers (IC2MP, France). His research interests are centered on the development and characterization of materials with complex pore architecture.
